One of the ways, the entertainment industry is thriving is due to nostalgia, Introducing Huji cam which takes back a user back into the 80’s.
Huji Cam, one of the hottest photography apps of the year.
Huji cam mimicks a retro disposable film camera. When used, generating random effects on the subject in the frame. It creates light leaks, subtle grain and vintage coloring to the subject. It also creates a time stamp of the year 1998 to provide the effect as if the picture was captured in that year.
Huji’s interface is a quaint knockoff of a $10 drugstore disposable camera.
Accordingly, the app looks fairly Spartan: There are buttons for the shutter, the flash, and a “lab” that collects your captured shots.
Even quainter, you have to peer into the makeshift keyhole viewfinder, which then expands to reveal the full view of your shot (and a few more features, including a timer and front-facing camera option). For an extra dollar, you can import photos from your camera reel.
The mastermind behind Huji Cam is Manhole, Inc., a small South Korean company with little information available publicly. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/huji-cam/id781383622
